386YE Winter Solstice Conclave sessions

"What's that?" said Simone pointing at the small jar of mana crystals on Vorn's desk with a suspicious tone."It's the mana from the rogue declaration, " Vorn responded; and realising he probably shouldn't have left it out on his desk, he hastily added, "I was just about to put it away with the others," he promised.Simone eyed her fellow civil servant warily, clearly unconvinced. "The others?" she queried."Uh yeah..." said Vorn. "Is there a problem?""Show me 'the others'" said Simone in a deliberately neutral tone. Vorn shrugged, scooped up the jar and led his boss into the back room where the safe was kept. He took the keys and with a few well practiced motions unlocked the safe and let it fall open. The contents glinted in the dim light of the room, the illumination cascading off the surface of a massive hoard of mana crystals."Fuck... me..." said Simone."Er... is there a problem? People just kept sending it down here... nobody told me what to do with it... so I just kept putting it in the safe... " He was gabbling now, clearly nervous. "It was ok at first... and then they sent 110 mana one summit. I did write a note asking for a bigger safe, but I wasn't sure who to send it to... is there a problem?" he repeated vainly."Well, looking at that, you're personally hoarding as much mana as the Empire's magicians provide to the entire Conclave in a season, so yes, I'd say that's a problem, Vorn." She gulped nervously as she tried frantically to work out what on earth she was going to say to La Salle. "I mean... it should just be added to the font. So I guess that's what we'll do with it.""What will happen then?" queried Vorn his voice a bag of nerves now that he finally realised the gravity of the error."Well, either the grandmasters will be absolutely ecstatic. Or we'll get fired. Possibly both."

Precedence and the Font

The members of each order in attendance at the end of the previous summit determine precedence for the following summit according to the Principle of Precedence. There was 83 mana in the font after the final Conclave session of the 386YE Autumn Equinox. This was distributed to the grand masters of the Conclave according to the Principle of Precedence as per the table below.

This left 3 mana, which is added to the 243 mana collected via the Principle of Proportions and the 19 mana from the rogue declaration at the previous event to form the font for the coming summit. The Conclave has access to a font of 265 mana at the 386YE Winter Solstice.

The mana from previous rogue declarations provides to an additional 190 mana to the font for this event only. (OOC Note: We forgot to add the rogue declaration to the font and also forgot to remove the remainder after distribution from being added to the amount divided out. The net impact of these two errors is a gain of 190 mana for the Empire. Both errors are now corrected - many thanks to the eagle-eyed player who emailed in to point out the error).
